We Provide

PREMIUM QUALITY SEED

We specialize in small grain seed including oats, barley, wheat, rye, triticale, and pea mixes.

Hayden

Hayden is a mid-late maturing oat variety released from South Dakota. Hayden is our best yielding variety averaging 90-110 bu/ac over multiple years. Hayden also has excellent test weights of 36-40 lbs/bu. It is mildly susceptible to crown rust, but resistant to BYDV. Plant height is around 38-40 inches making it one of our tallest oat varieties.

OGLE

Ogle is a well-known variety that has been around for decades. It’s a mid-season oat that shows good yields as long as it avoids leaf rust which it is susceptible to. Newer varieties have surpassed Ogle in yield. test weight, and disease resistance, but Ogle is still a good oat for feed, cover cropping, or chopping.

KEWAUNEE

Kewaunee is a great grain and forage barley. It’s a six rowed smooth-awned variety that consistently shows high yields, good test weight, and good disease resistance. Wisconsin can be a tough state to grow barley, but Kewaunee performs well year to year.

OATS AND PEAS MIX

Pairing oats with 4010 peas produces excellent forage yield and quality. We recommend harvesting this blend when the oats are at mid-late boot stage. This optimizes the feed quality of the oats, while also chopping the budding peas at peak protein levels.

BARLEY AND PEAS MIX

This mix gives growers a high tonnage, high protein forage product.

WINTER RYE

A very popular and versatile choice for cover crop, forage, or grain production. Rye is very cold tolerant and can be seeded late in fall.
